Justa is a unique ministry designed as a day resource center to help homeless individuals over the age of 55 find appropriate housing, employment, etc.
TMM Family Services, Inc. - Tucson - www.tmmfs.org
Works with at risk children and families in the areas of housing and group homes for kids. TMM is led by Rev. Don Strauch.
United Methodist Outreach Ministries (UMOM) - Phoenix - www.umom.org
UMOM New Day Centers is the largest homeless shelter for families in Arizona and also provides over 300 units of affordable housing in the Phoenix area. UMOM’s mission is to provide homeless families and individuals with safe shelter, housing and supportive services to assist them in reaching their greatest potential.
Open Doors Community Services (formerly UMSM) - Las Vegas - www.opendoorslv.org
The mission of Open Doors is to minister to at-risk children and families, particularly in the areas of safety, good nutrition and positive socialization. Glenda Thompson Bona is the Executive Director.
Wesley Community Center - Phoenix - www.wesleycenterphx.org
Wesley works with area barrio children in a variety of program settings, has a secondary remote location at Calvary UMC in west Phoenix, and houses a medical clinic which serves the vulnerable, people paying as they can, if they can. Wesley's Executive Director is Betty Mathis.
