DFUMC is looking for the right candidate to lead youth ministry for students in grades 6-12. This person should demonstrate a basic knowledge of youth development and age appropriate programming that is welcoming and inclusive. This person must listen well, communicate effectively with people of all ages, and be skilled in collaborative planning and implementation of a vital ministry or program. Candidate must work well with others, delegate responsibility, and follow up accordingly to get the job done. Applicant should have a vision for the ministry as well as a passion for the students and their families. Music Director - Song of Life UMC, Queen Creek, AZ

Song of Life UMC in Queen Creek, AZ, is looking for a part-time Music Director for Sunday morning worship services. This position's primary responsibility is for traditional worship, but will assist with contemporary worship. Other duties include: participating in choosing hymns and communicating with all staff and volunteers; coordinating additional weekly musical offerings; leading and/or coordinating rehearsals with worship leaders, additional musicians, or special music persons on a regular basis; and creating and coordinating with children's ministry team the integration of music into children's ministry.

Job requirements include a demonstrated skill as a musician; good interpersonal skills; and organization, prioritization and time management skills.

Pastoral Assistant - Vista de la Montana UMC, Tucson, AZ

Vista de la Montana has a position open for a "Pastoral Assistant". Areas of work include children, youth and publicity promotions.  Position closes August 17, 2016

Purpose: To help the Pastor in the areas most needed to grow Vista Church.

Children and Youth area: Meet with and visit in their home all the current active children and youth, Meet with the CYFM and work with them to strengthen the children and youth Sunday School. Help grow a UMYF, Be the staff person assigned to help with the Children's Creative Camp, attend the Youth Mission Trip as a leader or recruit leaders to do so, and liaison with all programs associated with Coronado School: backpack, mentoring etc.

Publicity and Promotions and Church Growth: Be the staff person assigned to help the Evangelism and Membership committees, promote Vista Church and all programs in all local media: printed publications, Facebook, website, email, etc. Work with the writing and production of the Echo's newsletter. Work on "Branding" the church ministry, help the pastor with all visitor follow-up in order to recruit new members according to the established visitor guidelines. Help the pastor and membership committee keep up with people falling into inactivity or homebound status. Help promote a missional, invitational stance in all programs, missions and outreach of the church, and other pastoral duties as assigned.

On Going Training: Continue with Stephen Ministry training opportunities and any other ones promoted by our district or conference. Attend a "Healthy Congregations" training event in the Summer of 2017.

St. Michaels United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time Office Administrator to work up to 20 hours per week.

The Office Administrator is the congregation's "public face" and the first-responder to telephone inquiries, drop-in visitors, members, friends, guests, vendors, maintenance personnel, and any other individuals who seek information and assistance. In addition, the Office Administrator is responsible for routine correspondence and publications (printed and web), administrative support to the pastoral staff, youth coordinator and various ministry team chairpersons and volunteers, overall office management and related tasks, telephone and email communications, database management, management of building use by a variety of internal and external groups, maintenance of a comprehensive building and program calendar, both online and paper, supervision of volunteers on an as-needed basis, and other projects as they arise.

Music Director: St. Michaels United Methodist Church, 2895 South Jamaica Boulevard, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, is seeking a part-time music director (20 hours per week).

This position works closely with the Senior Pastor in planning and preparing appropriate music for church services and special events in order to create a meaningful worship experience. Purpose of Position: To help fulfill the mission of Christ Church by providing inspirational leadership to members of the Chancel Choir and assist in leading the music for the church's weekly traditional worship service as well as other special worship services as specified by the Senior Pastor.

We serve families with children who are 12 months old and steady walkers up thru Junior Kindergarten. Lead Teacher applicants should have an Associate's Degree with and Early Childhood Certificate or a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education. Applicants should also have at least two years of experience in a licensed childcare center and be familiar with the National Association for the Education of Young Children's Accreditation process.

Assistant Teacher applicants should have experience in a preschool setting and six months of academic background/college work in early childhood or elementary education.

Aide applicants should have experience working with young children.
