A parish/faith community nurse is a registered nurse with specialized training. Parish/faith community nurses provide care of the spirit along with expert nursing knowledge to promote whole health of the mind, body and spirit to prevent or minimize illness.
Health and Caring ministries are customized to meet the needs of the congregation as well as the gifts and talents of those who provide the care.

DUET FAITH COMMUNITY NURSE BASIC PREP COURSE
Duet is proud to present the Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Basic Preparation Program. This educational experience is open to all registered nurses with active licenses. For anyone else interested in starting or enriching a congregational health program, contact our office for additional opportunities.
This program is an interfaith course that teaches experienced RNs how to provide wholistic healthcare to members of a faith community.
Cost: $400 includes materials, textbook, meals, snacks, and contact hours. This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Arizona Nurses’ Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on accreditation.
