Keynote Speaker, Rev. Trevor Hudson
Rev. Trevor Hudson, SOULfiesta keynote speaker, has been in the Methodist ministry for the past 30-odd years, spending most of this time in and around Johannesburg. Presently, he is part of the pastoral team at Northfield Methodist Church in Benoni where he teaches and preaches. He also travels widely doing conferences, retreats, and workshops in a number of diverse settings. He has written seven books, including Journey of the Spirit, which was awarded Best Christian Book of the Year in South Africa (2003). His most recent books, A Mile In My Shoes, The Way of Transforming Discipleship, Listening to the Groans, and One Day at a Time are now available. Much of his ministry is shaped by two passions: One passion is to help ordinary Christ-followers discover a compassionate, down-to-earth and life-giving spirituality. The other is to build missional faith-community where folk can link the inward and outward dimensions of their Christian faith. Trevor is married to Debbie and together they are the parents of Joni and Mark.
