VIM training is required by several UMC Annual Conferences before they will accept mission teams into their Conference and is recommended for all those leading mission teams, whether they are UMVIM recognized or not. Training consists of; leader qualifications, how to select a mission site, recruiting team members, travel considerations and other useful information to make your mission planning and trip easier and more enjoyable. Training generally takes 6 hours and a continental breakfast and lunch are included. There is no charge for the training or the manual.
