Devin Mauney grew up in Tucson as a member of Christ Church United Methodist and is currently a student at Arizona State University in Tempe where he studies Economics. He was previously elected by the Desert Southwest Annual Conference as a member of the 2004 Western Jurisdictional Conference and has also served as a board member for United Methodist Communications and the United Methodist Youth Organization. Fluent in Portuguese, Devin will serve on the Global Ministries Legislative Section and the Committee on Presiding Officers at the 2008 General Conference. In addition to his studies and work in the Church, Devin is active in local politics, enjoys traveling, and has recently started playing the ukulele.
