Domestic Violence Conference 2011

The Conference Commission on the Status & Role of Women is pleased to announce a second conference on Domestic Violence Response. The conference will take place on Saturday, April 2nd at Sun Lakes United Methodist Church. All clergy & church leaders are encouraged to attend. The goal of the conference is to enable clergy and the church to respond to victims of domestic violence with pastoral care and clarity. Please click here for details and registration.

Words that Heal Award

Be thinking about clergy and lay persons in your church who are inclusive in their conversation and leadership. A nominations form is found each Spring on the Annual Conference portion of this website. The annual award is given in celebration of inclusivity, diversity, respect, and tolerance of all people.
