Feast of Remembrance
Wednesday, June 7, 7:00 p.m.
North Scottsdale UMC
Isaiah 66:10 -13
We will gather in the new sanctuary of North Scottsdale UMC to celebrate the lives and ministry of clergy and clergy spouses who have died since last Annual Conference. As we remember those who have gone before us, we will remember our baptism and receive anointing of oil, commissioning us for continued ministry.
Feast of Promise
Thursday, June 8, 9:00 a.m.
Laity at the Paradise Valley Doubletree, Clergy at Scottsdale UMC
Exodus 16:1-12
Once again, while meeting at separate locations, the Lay and Executive Sessions will share similar worship experiences. We will remember God's promises to us and reaffirm our commitments to one another as Annual Conference members.

Paradise Valley Doubletree Forum
Isaiah 25:6 -10a
Representatives from local churches will process with ingredients for bread-making, connecting worship in our local churches to this worship gathering. Our conference communion table will be assembled from elements representing our four districts. We will celebrate with music which will enliven and connect generations as we experience the holiness of God through the holy habit of gathering at the communion table, recognizing through the sacrament who we are as a body.

Matthew 15:21-28
We will acknowledge past hurts - ways we've all been wounded by divisions among us as we share the wounds of women in ministry, celebrate their commitment to Christ, and experience holy healing through God's redemption. We will invite God's healing in this collaborative worship time, involving the Commissions on the Status and Role of Women and Archives and History.
