Brave individuals--we read about them in history books, we have seen them in movies and we find them in the pages of Scripture! Perhaps we have even met or will meet such persons during our own lifetime. However, have we ever pictured ourselves being included on that list? This summer at camp we will explore what it means to be BRAVE. Psalm 27:14 says: "Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous!" We will discover how God can help us do that every day! There will be great activities and adventures that make camp wonderful and of course archery! Come explore and have fun as we discover what it means to be "Brave!"

Experience how to create the greatest impact in your life and the lives of those around you -- Jesus did it and shows you how to do it too! We will learn from the Master this very basic principle -- Don't pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults--unless, of course, you want the same treatment. Give away your life; you'll find life given back, but not merely given back--given back with bonus and blessing. (Luke 6:37-38). It promises to be a great week! With the powerful teachings of the Master Jesus we will enjoy the many activities that make camp great --hikes, archery, crafts, games, friends and worship with meaning! Come and join in the fun as you learn to- "Impact Your World!"

The wilderness is vast, mysterious, and just a little bit dangerous. But we know God is; bigger than we can imagine, different than we think, and more powerful than any force we know of. Maybe that is why so many men and women of the Bible went into the wilderness in search of God. Join us for a week of exploring the wilderness stories of the bible as we explore the wilderness places of Potosi Pines. There will of course be singing and cheering and hiking and plenty of laughter. There will be crafts and archery and many surprises. And all the while we will learn about the places that God has created and how to find God in creation, in nature; in the WILDERNESS!
August 5-9 Elementary III ("Super Hero Camp") PPE313 - click here for online registration
Deans: Julie Schreiber
(no early registration deadline)
Have you ever wanted to be a Super Hero? This year at “Super Camp” we are going to look at the qualities of some real heroes as well as some from the Bible. Do you think heroic people were born that way or do you think they are regular people who found courage to make things better? We will explore those ideas and have a chance to think about who we look up to in our lives as heroes. Not only that, we will look at our own gifts and talents and think about how we can use them to be real heroes in our own world and for God! You may not be able to fly or leap tall buildings in a single bound but God will help you be a friend to someone in need and stand up for what is right and use your voice to make a difference where you live! Come join the fun at “Super Camp”, we are going to have a super good time!
